What Makes You Different?

"I have worked with other photographers in the past and have had horrible experiences. What makes you and your business different then the rest?"

I am sorry you have had a horrible experience in the past and I would love to know what made your experience less then amazing for you and your family. Not to be nosy but to make sure I don't make the same mistakes. But what I can guarantee makes me different then all the rest is I will always treat your how I would want to be treated by a business, a photographer, and a friend. As you know being in front of the camera you become vulnerable and put complete control in the person you choose to hire. I don't know about you, but for me that is terrifying and I want to know exactly what to expect from the moment I hire someone to the end of service. I don't like surprises and therefore I make sure you have all the information up front and at your finger tips. If you are unsure about anything, I am happy to explain it in more detail. This is why I require a design session. Yes, I know it mean you have to take more time out of your busy schedule to meet with me in person but I promise it makes all the difference in the success of your session, the experience you have, and your finished images. I ask several questions during the meeting to help me get an idea of who each person is I am going to work with and be able to connect as a friend. I also try to make sure I walk you through the entire process and give you pointers on how to prepare not only yourself but anyone else who will be part of your session. We go over wardrobe and choose a location that is best for your family as well whether it be in the studio or outdoors. We discuss the process for picture day and go to what to expect after the session. We go over prices and products available so there is no surprise there either. If you have any questions or concerns, I am available to address them in detail even after the meeting. So what makes me different then other photographers is you can be confident that not only will you receive beautiful images that capture the moments you will fall in love with and cherish as part of your families legacy, but you receive a service that will put you as #1 from the beginning. You should never feel like just a number.
