Here at Mindful Light Photography we work with you to create a custom session for you that will result in the most precious moments being turned into timeless heirlooms that will be cherished for generation.

Though our fully furnished studio is located in Rocky Mount VA, we provide photography services to all of the surrounding areas: Franklin County, Smith Mountain Lake, Roanoke, Salem, and Martinsville

You don't need to bring anything except baby and a food source for them.  Everything is provided for your session.  We have entertainment for older siblings and you get access to tv and WiFi.  You can watch me work or take a nap it's up to you. Think of me as a babysitter while your present.  I can take care of baby while you rest and if I need you for anything I will wake you.

Every session is a unique experience and is customized to meet your needs. When you decide you want to work with Mindful Light Photography and you book your session we start designing your session with a series of questions to help me get to know you and your family and what your goal is for the finished photos.  These questions help me serve you better.  I offer wardrobe styling assistance, will shop your closet with you, or send you in a direction for shopping for new outfits.  I also have a fully furnished client closet with hand selected dresses that will make you feel elegant at a time when you may not feel your best.  I offer professional hair & makeup for the day of your session so you can be pampered and family/siblings are always welcome to be part of the session.  I take care of everything so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your time.  After the session I complete a soft edit and you get to view the best images from the session and select your favorites.  Whether you choose a build your own collection or an all inclusive collection you only purchase what you love.  I work with you to narrow down the images to meet your needs.  Then I send them to print and contact you when they arrive to schedule a day/time for delivery or pickup.  Complementary installation of wall art is also available.
